| History of Austins: |
Austins was established in southern Johnson County in 1987, with the goal in mind to be the "Local Neighborhood Bar & Grill." Several thousand smiles and handshakes later, Austins has become a staple of the community. A family owned and family-friendly establishment that cares about its customers. We understand that we must give back to the community that supports us. We are active in many local charities and fundraisers: Temporary Lodging for Children, Faiths Hope Fund, and A.L.S. Kansas City, to name a few.
In 2006 Austins opened a second location down the road in Gardner, Kansas with our goal of keeping our business & families local.
We strive for steak house quality food in a clean modern sports bar environment. We have great daily food and drink specials and we always have the game on!
